Originally known as Las Vegas From Home Entertainment Inc. (LVFH), the Company was a pioneer in the iGaming world. LVFH developed and supplied innovative gaming software to the industry.
The Company’s backbone was and remains a first-class team of software engineers combined strong and experienced leadership.
LVFH developed and launched TIGERGAMING.COM, one of the largest and most popular Canadian online poker networks. Tiger Gaming was revolutionary and experienced tremendous success with over 10,000 concurrent players.
Tiger Gaming was sold by LVFH in 2006. The Company switched its focus to licencing poker and casino mobile games to the iGaming industry.
Additionally, Las Vegas also develops project-based gaming software. For example, our advanced gaming software solution was chosen to power the ProJo Poker tournaments, aired on CBS Sports Network television.
Key clients from this time included Pinnacle Sports Worldwide and the ProJo Poker tournaments, televised on CBS Sports Network.
During this time, LVFH expanded from its poker offerings to include bingo, slots, virtual horse racing, and various casino games targeting the Asian market.
LVFH introduced Real Vegas Casino, a mobile gaming app which offered casino games on the Facebook APP Centre, Android and the Apple store.
LVFH partnered with Bally and PokerTek Inc. to offer blackjack, Fun 21, roulette, and Texas Hold’em poker in Carnival’s Mobile Casino. This mobilegame content was available for play on numerous Carnival cruise ships for real money gaming.
In July 2015, LVFH agreed to an Asset Purchase Agreement with Multimedia Games Inc. for the purchase of the PokerTek Inc. business unit. These assets included patents, software, trademarks, customer agreements, and a significant inventory of PokerPro and ProCore ETG units. Immediately preceding this asset purchase, LVFH rebranded as Jackpot Digital Inc. to reflect the Company’s new business focus on electronic table games.
Jackpot launched Jackpot Blitz™, the ultimate electronic gaming platform, at the 2017 Canadian Gaming Summit in Vancouver, BC and then at the 2017 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reception and acceptance was overwhelming and Jackpot Blitz™ was shortlisted for the 2017 Global Gaming Awards in the Land-Based Gaming Innovation.
Jackpot signs a software license and equipment agreement with New Brunswick’s Grey Rock Casino, as well as with Costa Rica’s Taormina Hotel & Casino, for the Jackpot Digital continues to grow in 2018, with numerous Jackpot Blitz™ licencing deals signed with Carnival Corporation & plc, New Brunswick’s Grey Rock Casino, Costa Rica’s Taormina Hotel & Casino, and Wisconsin’s Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells. With numerous distribution agreements in place world-wide, Jackpot Digital is well placed for growth in 2018.
President & CEO
Mr. Kalpakian has over 28 years in managing small-cap publicly listed companies. Mr. Kalpakian has served as President and CEO of Jackpot Digital Inc. (formerly Las Vegas From Home.com Entertainment Inc.) since 1999.
Mr. Spellman has served as a director of Jackpot Digital Inc. since 2002 and has been employed as Senior Vice President of D.B. Financial Management, Inc. since 2001. Prior to his current position, Mr. Spellman spent nearly 20 years as a First Vice President with Smith Barney on Wall Street. Mr. Spellman graduated from San Diego State University, cum laude, with a B.S. degree in Finance.
